Spring is....almost here?

We've had some significant changes in our life since January. We sold our house, bought a new one and moved in February. We moved about 3 miles (significantly closer to Mark and Amy!). Our new neighborhood is FULL of kids, the street we live on has very little traffic, it's close to Sophia's school (same school she went to before) and the house has some nice perks like a theater room, bigger garage, bigger yard etc.

Due to crazy weather in Wisconsin, we snowmobiling A LOT in March. Sophia logged quite a few miles riding with Rob, Uncle Mark and me. We have a 2 up machine so she can ride behind me on that (she's too tall to ride in front of me).
A little caffeine to ward off the sleepies while snowmobiling.

Sophia has joined a local swim team, called the Fox Valley Wave. She practices a couple times a week and will do a couple meets this summer. She has wanted to join a swim team for about a year so she's very excited about this.
Practice!

Spring weather has been slow to come to Wisconsin but Sophia managed to learn to ride a bike without training wheels (dressed in a winter coat, boots, mittens and hat!). Her bike was too small now so she picked a new one last week and is SO excited for nice weather so she can ride more.
Bike riding - no training wheels!

We've got some work to do at our new house - we want to expand the patio in the back, the yard needs attention and the basement is plumbed for a wet bar so we plan to get cracking on that. Friends came and helped build shelves for storage in the basement (you know, luggage, tubs of house decorations etc.). We bought some new TVs for the living room and are looking at furniture. So, little by little!

We went to Lion King at the PAC this week. We all had a good time.

Until next time!
